Crusaders prop Richard Moore will miss Sunday's Engage Super League Round 12 fixture at home to defending champions Wigan Warriors after he was suspended for one match when he appeared before the RFL Disciplinary Committee yesterday.
Moore was found guilty of the Grade A offence of punching Brent Webb of Leeds Rhinos in the 10th minute of the Easter Monday fixture at Headingley Carnegie Stadium. Moore, who admitted the offence, was also fined £300 after the panel deemed him to be the aggressor in the incident.
The committee also handed down a £300 fine and a caution to Webb, who avoided suspension despite being found guilty of the Grade A offence of punching.
The previous disciplinary records of both players were taken into consideration by the panel.
