Paul Welcomes Competition For Places

There will be stiff competition for places in the Warriors side for 2011 with a quality squad added to with the arrivals of Lima, Finch and Hoffman.

Every player is looking to impress in pre-season, pre-season games before the campaign begins in Cardiff against Saints in early February.

Speaking about the squad Paul Deacon told us,

"It will be tough to make the starting line-up whatever position you play and I am sure everyone in the squad whats to be in the side for the first game but it is not going to be easy.

"I am just looking to do a job for the team as I did last year. I am still enjoying my rugby and that was the biggest decision in me wanting to play on. Winning the Grand Final always helps but I enjoyed playing and I just want to carry that on as you are a long time retired.

"The way it panned out for me last year I was very lucky, a few players got injured and I was able to get back in the side after my injury and it gave me a chance."
