Following last week's announcement that Wigan will play Warrington in the Big One 2 on Friday 16th July, the Warriors are today pleased to unveil ticket details for the game.
The inaugural Big One game took place in 2009 when Leeds Rhinos visited the Warriors, a game that pulled a record 20,295 crowd and saw the Warriors run out 28-10 winners.
With the aim of attracting an even bigger crowd for the 2010 event the Club are offering the first 4,000 fans the opportunity to buy tickets at only £10 for adults, £7 for concessions and £5 for juniors.
These discounted tickets will be limited to 1,000 in each stand at the DW Stadium and initially will be available exclusively to current season ticket holders so they can take friends, families and work colleagues to the much-anticipated game.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday (4th May) to season ticket holders who will have until Friday 28th May to buy tickets at the discounted rate, however these will be sold on a first come, first served basis and once sold out all remaining match tickets will be priced at the normal match admission rates.
Furthermore, the first 1,500 season ticket holders to purchase tickets to the game will receive a free, exclusive, Big One 2 cap while the fan who buys the most tickets for this game in a single transaction will also receive a free 2011 season ticket
Chief Executive Mick Hogan said:
"The inaugural Big One, when Wigan tackled Leeds last season, was a massive success and it is a night that I still hear people talking about.
"It is our mission to generate a new record crowd for this game to cheer the boys onto victory, which as it stands is a top of the table clash. Wigan versus Warrington fixtures are always end-to-end epic encounters and we are sure that this will be no different.
"Our loyal season ticket holders played a massive role last year in helping us to achieve a record crowd which undoubtedly spurred the boys onto victory. This is the perfect opportunity for season ticket holders to bring a group of friends, work colleagues, neighbours or family members to the DW Stadium for what we are sure will be another fantastic night."
Tickets will be available for the Big One 2: Wigan v Warrington from Tuesday from the DW Stadium Ticket Office and Ticket Hotline on 0871 66-33-552.
