Every effort has been made to get the friendly fixture - which was due to kick off at 3pm – ‘on’, but ice has made approaches to the stadium hazardous.
"Even though there has been a significant thaw, the roads leading to the ground and pathways are still covered in ice and therefore aren't safe," said St Helens' Safety Officer Bob Singleton.
"The car park is particularly hazardous and therefore we had no other option than to call it off.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to both sets of fans."
Refund details will be announced in due course and it is expected that these will be handled by the DW Stadium Ticket Office. Please note that no refunds on match tickets will be available through Warriors World.
