Kangaroos Make Changes For Saturday

Australia coach Tim Sheens has rung the changes for Saturday's must-win Gillette Four Nations clash with England in Wigan.

Thirty-year-old back row forward Nathan Hindmarsh has earned a recall while hooker Robbie Farah, prop David Shillington and second rower Luke Lewis are all poised to make their debuts.

Forwards Ryan Hoffman and Sam Thaiday pay the price for the Kangaroos' disappointing performance in a 20-20 draw with New Zealand, while Kurt Gidley and Trent Waterhouse have been named as part of a provisional six-man bench but are likely to be the ones to drop out.

Hindmarsh will win his 21st cap two years after his last representative honour.

Lewis was part of the 2003 tour of England but did not play a Test while Farah withdrew from Lebanon's squad for last year's World Cup qualifiers in order to press his Kangaroo claims.

Team: Slater; B Morris, Inglis, Hodges, Hayne; Lockyer (capt), Thurston; Civoniceva, Smith, Hannant, Watmough, Gallen, Hindmarsh. Subs (from): Farah, White, Lewis, Shillington, Waterhouse, Gidley
