VIDEO: Lockers On The Way Back

Wigan Warriors Skipper Sean O'Loughlin has been sidelined since the game at Hull KR in July after a reoccurence of a shoulder injury but the good news is he is hoping to be back for next Friday and the game at St Helens.

It has proved a frustrating time on the sidelines but Lockers has returned to full training now and could figure in the clash at the GPW Recruitment Stadium.

Sean told us,

"Today was probably the first proper contact session I have done and it felt good. I will have a scan on Monday and that will determine whether I am OK to play but it feels good."

"The game at St Helens is an important one for us, there is a lot riding on it.We have been disappointed with the way we have played against St Helens in recent years and it would be good to get a good performance in going into the play-offs. It would be good to get a result going into the play-offs for the spectators as well. We could end up 4th, 5th or 6th, all we can do is to try and get a result at St Helens, that's all that's in our own hands. We will have a pretty fully fit squad going into the game with a week off so we will have no excuses really."

On the play-offs Sean added,

"We are in the top six which is the important thing but nothing is set in stone as to who will play who. What we do know is that we will have to beat two teams to get a shot at playing one of the top two, it's tough but it can be done."
