Captain Reflects on Wakey Win

Wigan made it two home wins in five days with a narrow 8-4 win against the Wildcats on Friday night. The game saw just one try scored through Sean O'Loughlin and he told us afterwards,

"It was a difficult one, I don't think it will go down in history as one of the best games but it's a win, over Easter we have picked up two from three so it's not bad going.

"In those conditions it was always going to be a low scoring game, I was glad to score the try, the first one of the season for me so it's good to be off the mark."

Wigan now face the World Club Champions and current engage Super League leaders Leeds Rhinos away on Saturday at 6pm,

"Leeds won at St Helens on Friday, they are the hot team at the moment and are playing some good rugby, they are also defending pretty well. We have a good record at Leeds and hopefully we can do alright."
