Feka and Fielden to Visit Tesco Leyland

Wigan Warriors players Feka Paleaaesina and Stuart Fielden are swapping the playing field for the supermarket this weekend to make a special appearance at the Tesco Extra store in Leyland on Saturday (1st September).

The event promises fun and games for all the family with the popular Warriors mascot Max, and the club’s cheerleading squad the ‘Walkabout Warrior Girls’ also attending to join in with the activities.

Hosted by Warriors Presenter Stewart Williams and Miss Wigan Warrior Gillian Battersby, Tesco Extra customers will have the chance to get autographs and have their photographs taken with the two prop forwards*, mascot Max, and the Walkabout Warrior Girls. There will also be the opportunity to take part in competitions to win some great prizes. The fun starts at 12.30pm until 2pm.

The event is part of the continued work Tesco are carrying out in conjunction with Wigan Warriors to promote the game of Rugby League, healthy living and healthy eating to children across the region and follows the successful road shows held at Wigan and Horwich Tesco's during July and the Chorley event in August.
