It's a Great Night Out at the JJB

Wigan Warriors entertain Salford on Friday night at the JJB Stadium and the Warriors will again be offering a fun filled night for all the family.

Performing on the Showcase Stage in the North East corner from approximately 6.45pm will be top local singer / songwriter Si Fox.

Simon is a very well known and respected face on the local music scene, being the songwriter, guitarist and lead singer in a number of bands including 'The Outsiders' and the much loved '!Bushack!'. He is responsible for penning some of the most popular unsigned songs to come from the town including 'Jimmy Cooper', 'Limbosville' and the beautiful 'Gardener of Eden', using layered textures of tearing riffs, anthem like melodies and gentle acoustic strokes - sometimes in the same song!

Now balancing between solo performances and various other projects, Simon will be showcasing his songs for the first, but hopefully not the last time, on the Showcase Stage.

The stage has featured some of Wigan’s finest unsigned bands over the last 3 seasons, ranging from rock, folk, punk, indie and even funky electronica! You can find out more about the Showcase and the musicians who have performed by visiting the official Showcase Myspace page by [clicking here].

Also taking place on the evening will be Max's Family Club in the Marquee from 6.15pm while the Tetley's Lounge Supporters Bar will open at 6.00pm.

Pre-match entertainment will feature the Walkabout Warrior Girls and popular mascot Max before the big kick off at 8.00pm.

The Golden Gamble draw at Half Time will this week be made by Martin Dermott, the former Wigan Hooker who won 2 World Club Championships, 5 Challenge Cups, 7 Championships, 5 John Player medals and 3 Lancashire Cups while with the Club.

Tickets are still available from the JJB Stadium Ticket Office and Ticket Hotline on 0871 66-33-552 while cash admittance will be available on the night in the East Stand.
