Lockers Previews Catalans Clash

Wigan Warriors are just 80 minutes away from this years Final of the Carnegie Challenge Cup. Ahead of them on Sunday at the Halliwell Jones Stadium is a tough Semi-Final against the Catalans Dragons.

Wigan Warriors had their final training session at Orrell on Saturday morning with Head Coach Brian Noble confirming his final 18 for the game.

Looking ahead to the game on Sunday, Skipper Sean O'Loughlin told us,

"This is a massive game for everyone at the club, it's a great opportunity to be one of two to play back at Wembley but before that we face a tough game against the Catalans Dragons.

"The games against them are tough and intense and we expect something similar once more and hopefully a game where we come out on top."

Asked about being firm favourites to win the clash, Sean added,

"Most people are making us favourites but I don't look at that kind of thing, we will just concentrate on what we are going to do and look at their strengths and weaknesses.

"There may be some nerves on the day but that's a good thing, it means you have your mind on the game.

"Being at Warrington is a good thing, only half an hour away and the Wigan fans will hopefully be there in numbers to make it more like a home game than a neutral venue." watch1.gif
