Selections from the Wigan Warriors dominate the twenty four man England Academy under 18’s Train-On Squad from which the selections to face France in Perpignan next month will be made.
The Warriors have seven representatives in the squad, which will be reduced closer to the time, to a travelling party of eighteen. Elsewhere Leeds Rhinos will supply five players and the Bradford Bulls three.There are also two selections
from each of the Salford City Reds, Warrington Wolves and the Widnes Vikings. Hull, St. Helens and Wakefield each have single representative in the Squad.
The game is due to take place on Wednesday, 11th. July, in Perpignan, with the venue either the Stade Gilbert Brutus or St. Esteve. It promises to be stern task for the young England lads with the French game at this level decidedly on the up.
