Lions prop Stuart Fielden and scrum-half Sean Long are both expected to be fit from minor niggles for Saturday's match with Australia.
Wigan prop Fielden played with a knee injury during Saturday's defeat to New Zealand and Long has had stomach problems, but GB coach Brian Noble expects both to be fit to play.
"We think they will clear up," said Noble, also Fielden's coach at the Warriors.
"Sean Long trained fully today and we'll see how he reacts, but we're not too worried about that one.
"Stuart Fielden again trained fully and we'll take another precautionary look tomorrow."
Noble is poised to make a couple of changes to his 18-man squad for the must-win game against Australia, who themselves handed a start to the now departed St Helens centre Jamie Lyon.
