Warriors Report Strong Season Ticket Sales

With the renewal deadline only a week away, Wigan Warriors are reporting very strong sales of season tickets for engage Super League XII.

Over 4500 season tickets have already been sold for the 2007 season in just 6 weeks, double the amount sold at the same time last year, with over 15% of these being new season ticket holders.

Warriors Marketing Director Simon Collinson said:

“The sales to date have been very pleasing, and we are especially encouraged by the number of fans who have purchased a season ticket for the first time. There is a real buzz around the town and amongst our supporters about engage Super League 12, and this is being demonstrated in the volume of season tickets we have sold.

“All seats will go on general sale on Monday 6th November and we have received a record number of enquiries about seats that are currently reserved by existing season ticket holders. I would therefore urge all existing season ticket holders to renew their seats by Friday to ensure they can keep the same seats next season whilst also taking advantage of the extra savings.”

The Warriors are the buzz club of the competition having recorded a record crowd of 14,464 during 2006, and they are confident of breaking last year’s season ticket record of 8,000.

Season tickets offer savings up to £73 for adults and £98 for juniors along with a host of exclusive benefits and the only way to guarantee a ticket for every Super League game at the JJB Stadium is to purchase a Warriors season ticket
