Warriors Offer Great Night Out

Wigan Warriors take on Bradford Bulls on Friday, kick off 8pm, and the Warriors are offering another great night of entertainment at the JJB Stadium.

Last time the two sides met was at Odsal in March, a game now infamous for the rolling fog which blanketed the stadium.

But with Autumn fast approaching there is no danger of a repeat, and the best way to watch the action and sample the spine tingling atmosphere is LIVE!

The club have organised another great package of entertainment before the main event.

Max’s Family Club will take place in the Marquee while the South Stand Supporters Bar (season ticket holders free, others £1 on a first come first served basis) will be in full swing from 6pm, while the Rock FM Coaches Award takes place after full time in the Tetley’s Lounge (season ticket holders free, other £1 on a first come first served basis).

On the field the pre-match entertainment will feature one of the UK’s busiest live bands, Treacle.

Fronted by multi-instrumentalist Doz Bee (who sings and plays guitar, saxophone, electric violin and flute) Treacle’s upbeat and lively set will ensure it is night to remember. The charismatic band from London describe their set list as "all killer and no filler".

If you enjoy Treacle then you’ll be able to see more of them as they play a full set at Walkabout Wigan on King Street after the game.

Alongside Treacle, loveable mascots Max and Kelvin will be making an appearance with Bullman and the Walkabout Koala and Kangaroo, while the Walkabout Warrior Girls will also be performing before kick off and at Half Time.

The Warriors will also welcome Rochdale Mayfield Amateur Rugby League club who will be awarded the prestigious Sport England Rugby League Clubmark Accreditation.

Sport England Clubmark sets generic criteria for national governing bodies of sport to accredit their clubs against in order to create safe, effective, and child friendly environments.

Clubmark brings benefits such as promoting clubs within their communities, increasing participation levels, developing coaches and volunteers at clubs, and raising standards.

The Cherry & White matchday programme will be available around the ground priced at £2.50 and features a giant pullout poster of rising star Chris Ashton, while Golden Gamble tickets are priced at just £1 and could make you up to £2000 richer!

The TA will also be located outside the ground distributing five more releases of the popular player cards series.

Tickets are selling well for this hugely important fixture, and to show your support and see all the action live simply [click here] to order your tickets, call the Ticket Hotline on 0870 11-22-552 or visit the JJB Stadium or Grattan Stadium Ticket Offices.
