Noble Looks Ahead To Quins Clash

Wigan Warriors head to the capital on Saturday to face Harlequins in another important engage Super League clash. The game at the Twickenham Stoop has a 6pm kick off.

Wigan go into the game on the back of successive wins against Catalans Dragons and Warrington Wolves, the Quins last week went down 38-18 away to the Dragons.

Looking ahead to the game Head Coach Brian Noble admitted it would be another tough test,

"Results are important to us from now until the end of the season, the two wins we have had have come on the back of improving performances. We will need to improve some more, I know Tony Rea and the Harlequins team will be very determined to put there loss last week in France right. They have some good players and we will need to be at the top of our game."

On the Quins he added,

"Tony Rea is a pretty good coach and if you look at his track record you see they generally bounce back well after a defeat so we need to be ready. We are the away team and he has talked all year about the fact how strong they need to be at home but the situation we are in, we are in a hole and we need to get out of it."

Looking back on the victory against the Wolves last Friday, Noble said,

"I think that the manner we played against Warrington suggests if we play like that certain things will happen and that was proved to be the case.We are confident going into each game, it's about hard work and perseverance at practice and the same on the field. The players know how to win now, I still think there is a bit of a rollercoaster ride to come."

On the team news, Brian added,

"There is only David Vaealiki missing, Rads is back as is Pat Richards. The lads that played in the international are all OK."
