Old & New for International Warriors

Wigan Warriors-bound Mark Calderwood, surprisingly omitted from Great Britain’s Tri-Nations squad, will be on the right wing for England in Sunday’s international against France at Headingley.

Former Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors forward Jerome Guisset is one of eight players from Super League newcomers Les Catalans in the 18-man French squad, which also includes burly Toulouse second-rower Sebastien Raguin, who was man of the match in this year’s Challenge Cup semi-final defeat by Leeds Rhinos.

France are coached by former Wigan Warriors boss John Monie, who got off to a winning start with an 80-0 win over Russia in the European Nations Cup last weekend.
