Warriors Fans To Create Carnival Atmosphere

Wigan Warriors fans are hoping to create a carnival atmosphere for Friday's penultimate home game of the season against Leeds Rhinos at the JJB Stadium.

A group of fans on a supporters website have joined together to generate a special atmosphere at the last two home games of the season and make the JJB Stadium a fortress once more.

They are encouraging all supporters to don the teams cherry and white colours, get their faces painted and make as much noise as possible to "inspire the team and claim the all-important league points the need to complete 'mission impossible 2' and make the play-offs".

Before the game, fans will be treated to the Warriors Rock Show from 7.20pm before the big kick off at 8pm.

Fans are reminded that the game WILL NOT be shown live on TV. Tickets are now available for the last two home games of the season against Leeds Rhinos on 2nd September, and against St Helens on 9th September. These are available from the JJB Stadium Ticket Office, Ticket Hotline on 0870 11-22-552, online BY CLICKING HERE and also from the Leeds and St Helens club ticket offices.
