Wigan Name Squad for Leeds Visit

Wigan Warriors host Leeds Rhinos at the JJB Stadium on Friday night in the engage Super League, 8pm kick off.

Wigan come into the clash on the back of three wins in a row and a record which sees five victories in the last seven outings. Tony Smith meanwhile, brings his side across the pennines with a Challenge Cup Final defeat to Hull last Saturday at Cardiff and a league defeat at Headingley to Bradford the week before.

With injuries still ravaging the Wigan squad Ian Millward has been able to name only 19 fit players with Jerry Seuseu sidelined and Wayne Godwin still not ready to make a return yet. On the plus side Jerome Guisset returns after missing the last three games.

The Warriors squad is :-

Dallas, Aspinwall, Vaealiki, Carney, Orr, Moran, Newton, Guisset, Tickle, Brown, Sculthorpe, Wild, Hansen, Allen, Beswick, Coyle, Hargreaves, Tomkins, Gleeson.

Leeds are without Great Britain Centre Keith Senior with ankle ligament damage but former Wigan player Barrie McDermott is expected to return to the squad and figure.

Tickets are now available for the last two home games of the season against Leeds Rhinos on 2nd September, and against St Helens on 9th September.
