Warriors Points Drout Continues in Cup Exit

It's now 165 minutes since the Warriors put a point on the scoreboard, the last coming from a Joel Tomkins try and Danny Tickle conversion in the closing stages of the deafeat to Hull FC on Friday 10th June.

The Drout includes Wigan's two heaviest defeats in the club's history, going down to Leeds at Headingley by 70-0 and at Knowsley Road in the Quarter Final of the Powergen Challenge Cup by 75-0, a total of 145 points without reply.

The Coach and Chairman have made it clear that Wigan are in a rebuilding phase, but the the extent of the defeats and the lack of points will be difficult to stomach for supporters, most of who have been used to watching Wigan as the dominant force in the game.
