Hull FC v Wigan Warriors
Can the Warriors repeat the heroics of Friday lunchtime and again defy all odds and go to the KC Stadium and beat Hull FC?
If anything Easter Monday’s game against Hull is even harder to win than beating the Saints. The Warriors are away from home, its only 72 hours since they last played and they have lost a further four players through injury as well.
In my opinion to ask the players to play again just 3 days later in modern day Super League is nothing short of crazy. Great for the administrators getting the spectators through the gates but an absolute nightmare for coaches and players.
Wigan will head to Hull without Sean O’Loughlin, Danny Orr, Kevin Brown and Danny Sculthorpe who all played vital roles in the tremendous victory against the Saints. Hull will also be playing their 2nd game is 3 days after their great win in the capital against the London Broncos. FC came back from 10-0 down to record a 20-16 victory against the previously unbeaten London Broncos in the capital.
John Kear will have his side ready for this massive game and another huge crowd should be in attendance at the KC Stadium. Can Denis Betts raise his youngsters to another heroic win?? If he can, and I think he might then he should be named coach of the year now. I go for Wigan to again shock the RL world and record another great win!
