Wigan Wait on Hock

It was a case of the walking wounded at the JJB Stadium on Friday night as the Warriors narrowly lost out to the Bradford Bulls 27-28.

The biggest injury problem surrounds second row Gareth Hock who has damaged medial ligaments, Coach Denis Betts told the website,

"We are still awaiting the results on Gareth, he had a scan over the weekend and we shall have to wait and see. It's such a shame for the lad because he has a great attitude, is totally committed and has been in sensational form."

Other casualties from Friday include Danny Sculthorpe (hamstring), Terry Newton (knee), Bob Beswick (knee) and Danny Orr who received a bang, but fingers crossed these four may recover and be in contention to line up at The Halton Stadium against Widnes Vikings on Sunday 3pm in the engage Super League.
