Warriors Together: Week 2
- Community Foundation’s ‘Warriors Together’ programme returned on Friday 28 November.
- The Warriors visited Nicol Mere Primary School and Cansfield High School.
- Players also attended Club partners ProCare and Pall Mall Carpets.
Wigan Warriors Community Foundation’s ‘Warriors Together’ continued in the second week of pre-season with players visiting schools and club partners.
The Club’s ‘Warriors Together’ initiative is dedicated to creating a positive impact across the entire borough, partnering with schools and community groups in Wigan’s most deprived and hard-to-reach areas.
Starting on Friday 28 November, Foundation staff delivered mental health and wellbeing assemblies in three primary schools before pupils engaged in physical sessions supported by Warriors players in attendance.
The second week of the programme saw Community Staff and First Team players head out into the Community once more, visiting schools to deliver sessions whilst others went to Club Partners ProCare and Pall Mall Carpets to see what our valued Club Partners get up to on a day-to-day basis.
