Warriors Together starts with Primary School visits
- Community Foundation’s ‘Warriors Together’ programme returned on Friday 28 November.
- The Warriors visited Standish Lower Ground St Anne’s, Marus Bridge and Highfield St Matthews CE Primary Schools to deliver mental health & wellbeing assemblies.
- The initiative aims to create a positive impact across the entire borough.
Wigan Warriors Community Foundation’s ‘Warriors Together’ programme returned with players visiting local primary schools.
The Club’s ‘Warriors Together’ initiative is dedicated to creating a positive impact across the entire borough, partnering with schools and community groups in Wigan’s most deprived and hard-to-reach areas.
Starting last Friday afternoon, Foundation staff delivered mental health and wellbeing assemblies in three primary schools before pupils engaged in physical sessions supported by Warriors players in attendance.

- Highfield St Matthews CE Primary School.
