Lansafe Partners with Wigan Warriors to Power Edge Hall Road Community Stadium
Wigan Warriors are pleased to announce a new partnership with IT, Telecoms and Security specialists Lansafe.
Lansafe, one of the UK’s leading I.T., Telecoms, and Security specialists, has announced an exciting new partnership with the Warriors, providing cutting-edge technology and a security infrastructure for the Club’s Edge Hall Road Community Stadium facility in Orrell.
Rooted in Wigan, Lansafe has always placed community support at the heart of its mission. From local sponsorships to providing advanced digital solutions, the company remains deeply committed to giving back to its hometown.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in the redevelopment of the Edge Hall Road facility, a site that once served as a training ground for Wigan Warriors prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the facility closed in 2020, it has now been revitalized to serve as a shared base for both Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors Women’s teams.
On the partnership, Managing Director and Founder, Lee Roby, said: “I just had to get involved, it’s the start of a new chapter for both football and Rugby League in Wigan,” said Roby.
“The Edge Hall Road facility was ideal, and I wanted to provide them with the same safety and technology systems they have in place at The Brick Community Stadium.
