Referee Watch: Round 14

The Rugby Football League have confirmed the match officials for the Betfred Super League Round 14 fixtures which will see Wigan Warriors take on Huddersfield Giants.

Liam Moore will take charge of the clash between the Giants and the Warriors on Saturday afternoon, whilst Aaron Moore has been selected as the video referee. Ryan Cox and Gareth Jones have been named as the touch judges for the battle at the FLAIR Stadium, Dewsbury.

L. Moore has refereed the Warriors twice this Super League season, including the Round 4 meeting which saw Wigan claim a 44-18 victory at The Brick Community Stadium. It will be the first time he has been in the middle for a Giants clash since their Round 7 home defeat to Catalans Dragons.

Elsewhere in Super League, Tom Grant will referee Hull KR’s clash against Catalans Dragons whilst Liam Rush will take charge of Hull FC and Castleford Tigers. Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves will be refereed by Chris Kendall as Jack Smith leads Wakefield Trinity against Leigh Leopards.

Super League’s final game of Round 14 will be led by Aaron Moore as Salford Red Devils host St Helens at the Salford Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
