Warriors top Super League stats

At the mid-point in the Betfred Super League season, find out which Warriors are leading the competitions stats charts.

The Warriors sit two points behind leaders Hull KR in the Super League table after 13 Rounds having scored the most points (442) in the competition whilst conceding the second fewest (151). Before Super League’s return next weekend, take a look at the players leading the competition’s charts:

Most Tries

An electric start to the Super League season sees Jai Field top the try charts after scoring 15 tries in 12 matches. The full-back, who has averaged 1.25 tries per game, scored a Round 2 hat-trick against Hull FC before recording doubles in wins over St Helens and Salford Red Devils.

Field is now two tries behind his total in all competitions for the 2023 campaign (17), and just seven behind his highest scoring season (24) for the Warriors in 2022. Elsewhere, Bevan French and Jake Wardle have scored nine Super League tries – third highest – behind Hull KR’s Mikey Lewis, who has crossed 12 times.

Most Goals

Adam Keighran leads the way for the most goals successfully kicked in the competition (47) this season, ahead of Wakefield Trinity’s Max Jowitt (38) and Hull KR’s Arthur Mourgue (36).

The centre, who scored 68 goals for Catalans Dragons in 2023 and 70 during his debut season with the Warriors last year, holds an 80% success rate this season from his competition goal attempts.

Most Assists

Leigh Leopards’ Lachlan Lam has recorded the most Super League assists (19) so far this season with Leeds Rhinos’ Jake Connor second with 16. Harry Smith, who sits third on the list, has registered 14 which includes three in his last two appearances.

An impressive first half of the campaign from Smith has seen him accumulate the same number of assists as last season, with the half-back now aiming to surpass his personal highest of 22 assists recorded during the 2023.

Most Metres

Liam Marshall has made the most metres (2107) during the Super League season, ahead of Warrington Wolves full-back Matt Dufty (2014) and Wakefield Trinity winger Tom Johnstone (1880).

The Warriors winger, who finished third in the charts last season behind Dufty and Ryan Hall, has made the second highest carries (250) in the competition this season alongside seven tries.

Most Tackle Busts

The 2024 Super League Young Player of the Year has started this season strongly with five Super League tries as well as the most tackle busts (81) in the competition.

The 20-year-old leads the way ahead of St Helens’ Jack Welsby (75) as well as Leigh Leopards centre Tesi Niu and Leeds’ Miller, who have each made 74.

Most Clean Breaks

Field sits second in the Super League charts for the most clean breaks (18) with Lewis leading the way (19). Former Warrior Joe Burgess is third in the list (13), ahead of Marshall who has registered 12 clean breaks in the competition.

Field, who is one short of his total clean breaks in the 2023 campaign, will be aiming to surpass the 30 recorded in 2022 – which saw him top the charts that year alongside current Catalans Dragons winger, Tommy Makinson.
