Match Preview: Catalans (SLR12)

The Warriors will be aiming to extend their winning Super League run to seven matches when facing Catalans Dragons in the first of two matches at the Stade Gilbert Brutus this season.

Squad News

The Warriors have made one change to their named 21-player squad as Taylor Kerr is replaced by Ethan Havard, who if selected in Perpignan will play his first minutes of the season.

Opposition

Catalans Dragons have three players returning to their squad as Tommy Makinson, Elliott Whitehead and Frank Maria replace Arthur Romano and Bayley Sironen.

Matchday Information

The stadium is situated in the north-east of Perpignan, close to the airport. There are plenty of ways to travel to the stadium, including a free shuttle bus from the centre with a match ticket. Find more travel information HERE.

Tickets will be available to purchase in Perpignan from the Stade Gilbert Brutus Ticket Office, which is located in front of the Puig-Aubert Stand. Please note the Stadium Ticket Office will only be open from 4:30pm.

Turnstiles will open two hours before kick off (4:30pm), with supporters able to purchase food and drink inside the Stade Gilbert Brutus. To eat and drink inside the stadium, supporters will need to purchase tokens to spend – these can be bought in all refreshment areas.

Coaches Quotes

Matt Peet told the press he expects to face ‘the best’ of Catalans Dragons on Saturday evening.

Peet: “It’s a challenge, but we’ll enjoy the atmosphere and being out our comfort zone. Catalans are a quality team when you look at the talent, power and experience they have, so we must expect the best of them.”
