Here’s all the matchday information you need ahead of good friday’s sold out betfred super league derby against St Helens.

Tickets

Please note this game is a complete sell out, and no tickets will be available to purchase online or from The Brick Community Stadium Ticket Office. Supporters are reminded to be vigilant online, and that tickets being sold are not likely to be real.

Turnstiles at The Brick Community Stadium will be open from 1pm.

Academy Derby vs St Helens

Prior to the First Team clash, Wigan Warriors and St Helens will go head-to-head at Robin Park Arena (12pm K.O.) in a repeat of the Academy Grand Final which saw the Warriors claim a 15-12 win.

Supporters with a valid match ticket for the First Team game can gain free entry to the Academy Derby from 10:30am. Please note entry is on a first come, first served basis.

Fan Village

Our popular Robin Park Arena Fan Village is the perfect place to soak up the pre-match Derby atmosphere from 11am with live music from Craig Elliot, refreshments from our two on-site bars as well as food from our outdoor vendors – including a host of ice cream and sweet treat creations from social media sensation JJ’s Ices.

Alongside the Academy Derby, supporters can watch the Betfred Super League Rivals Round clash between Hull FC and Hull KR (12:30pm K.O.) which will be shown outside on our DigiVan. Please note the match will only be shown without sound, and not on our indoor screens.

The Fan Village will be re-open post-match. Last orders will be called at 5:45pm, with the bar to close at 6pm. Supporters are reminded that Robin Park Arena is a cashless venue.

Supporters are reminded that bag searches will be in operation upon entry to our Robin Park Arena Fan Village, as well as The Brick Community Stadium. Please be aware that queues may apply when entering the building.

The Lancashire Hotpots

Supporters are encouraged to take to their seats from 2:10pm to hear The Lancashire Hotpots perform some of their best known tracks including ‘Chippy Tea’, ‘Egg, Sausage, Chips & Beans’ and ‘Has The Bin Man Bin Mon’.

The band are set to play for 40 minutes on the pitch, but please note the performance is subject to weather conditions and that any rain could lead to postponement.

Community Activities

Our Wigan Warriors Community Foundation team will host inclusive and interactive activities for match ticket holders at Robin Park Leisure Centre and The Brick Community Stadium before the action starts.

Junior supporters are welcome to participate in our sessions at Max’s Club hosted inside The Brick Community Stadium (1-2:30pm) as well as our recently launched Quiet Zone at Robin Park Leisure Centre (1:15-2:15pm). Please note activities will not be taking place at Robin Park Arena.

How To Shop

There are plenty of ways to shop pre-match! Our Robin Park Arena Club Store will be open from 10am until kick off, before reopening after the hooter. Supporters can also shop at our Pop Up Store from 12:30pm – located inside the players lounge in the West Stand – which is the perfect place to pick-up any essential merchandise before the action gets underway!

Supporters will be able to shop inside the Fan Village this Good Friday. Items – including shirts, leisurewear and accessories – will be available to purchase from a stall, with everything on sale priced at £15 and under.

The Riversiders South Stand Bar

All supporters are welcome to attend The Riversiders South Stand Bar, open pre (approx two hours before kick off) and post-match. Seasonal members, who have a current Riversiders Membership, can claim 25% off food and drinks in the South Stand Bar up to 90 minutes before kick off. 

The Riversiders will be holding their usual raffle – tickets priced at £1 per strip – with all funds raised going towards youth development at the Club. Supporters wishing to join The Riversiders, or renew their Membership, can do so by visiting The Riversiders table inside the South Stand Bar.

Car Parking

Seasonal car park passes will be available to use for this fixture. Car parking passes can be purchased upon arrival, however, only card payments will be accepted on all of our car parks (£6 per car/£12 per minibus/£22 per coach on Car Park 1, and Cars £6 on Car Parks 3 & 4).

Please note the stadium car parks will open at 12:30pm and close at 7pm.
