Match Preview: Hull FC (CCR4)

In association with Davanti Tyres, here’s everything you need to know ahead of our Betfred challenge cup fourth ROUND tie AGAINST HUll fc.

The Warriors continue their Challenge Cup defence on home soil this Saturday evening (5:45pm K.O.) when Hull FC travel to The Brick Community Stadium for the first competition meeting between the sides since 2021.

£10 Tickets

General admission adult tickets have been slashed to £10 for Saturday’s cup tie, which includes entry to the Reserves derby at Robin Park Arena (12pm K.O.).

Tickets can be purchased in-person from The Brick Community Stadium Ticket Office – open from 11am on matchday – or online HERE.

Supporters who paid for tickets by credit or debit card will receive an automatic refund of the difference. Supporters who paid by cash will need to contact the ticket office for their refund either in-person or on 01942 311 111.

Squad News

Matt Peet has made one change to his 21-player squad ahead of the tie as Jacob Douglas replaces Abbas Miski.

Opposition

Hull FC head coach John Cartwright has made two changes to his squad as Zak Hardaker and Will Gardiner replace Yusuf Aydin and Sam Eseh Jr, who is unable to play against his parent Club.

Matchday Information

Reserves Derby

Wigan Warriors Reserves will take on St Helens Reserves at Robin Park Arena (12pm K.O.) prior to the First Teams cup clash in a repeat of last season’s Grand Final.

Supporters with a ticket for the Cup tie can gain free access to the Reserves match. Admission for non-match ticket holders and non-seasonal members is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. Please note admission will be on a first come, first served basis.

Fan Village

Our popular Robin Park Arena Fan Village will open as soon as the Reserves fixture concludes (approx 2pm). The Fan Village is the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere with live music from Craig Elliot, refreshments from two on-site bars, as well as food from our outdoor vendors – Robin Park Arena is a cashless venue.

Our historic Betfred Super League victory over Warrington Wolves in Las Vegas will be shown on the screens. Our charity partner, Wigan & Leigh Hospice will be present in the Fan Village with a small stall taking donations.

Please note bag searches will be in operation as supporters enter Robin Park Arena.

Community Activities

Robin Park Arena – Junior supporters can participate in our Community Foundation led activities at Robin Park Arena between 4-5pm. Coaches will deliver a host of rugby sessions including wheelchair, try scoring and our Davanti Tyres passing challenge.

Max’s Club – Accessible via the East Stand Main Reception at The Brick Community Stadium, Max’s Club is the perfect place for children to soak up the pre-match atmosphere ahead of each game.

Open from 4:15:5:25pm, take part in free interactive activities – pool tables, air hockey, table football, inflatables, PlayStations, VR, plus drills and challenges – and grab a photo with Mighty Max as well as a selection of players, who will visit the Club before the action gets underway.

Car/Coach Parking

Seasonal car parking passes will not be available to use for this fixture. Parking is priced at £6 for cars, £12 for minibuses and £22 for coaches with cash and card payments accepted.

Please note that Car Park 1 will strictly only be open for coach parking from Hull FC. Any Hull FC supporters travelling by car should use Car Parks 3 and 4.

Kit Check

The Warriors will wear their Kappa home kit against Hull FC.
