Four Warriors were in loan and dual registration action across three competitions in the latest round of fixtures.

Castleford Tigers 22-14 Salford Red Devils

Tiaki Chan started in the second row for Salford Red Devils, who fell to a narrow defeat against Castleford Tigers at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Friday night.

Ryan Brierley and Kallum Watkins scored tries for the Red Devils, however, a late Judah Rimbu score gave the Tigers their first points of the Betfred Super League season.

Barrow Raiders 20-6 Oldham

George Hirst came off the interchange bench as Oldham suffered their first defeat of the Championship campaign at the Northern Competitions Stadium.

Oldham cut Barrow’s 10-0 half time lead with a converted score after the break, however, additional tries before the end saw the hosts take the points to move second in the table.

Newcastle Thunder 6-48 Swinton Lions

Trent Kelly-Duffy started at loose forward whilst Dylan Kelly-Duffy came off the interchange bench as Swinton Lions beat Newcastle Thunder heavily at Blaydon RUFC.

The Lions scored four first half tries to lead 20-6 at the break before three quick-fire scores saw their advantage extend to 38-6 with 54 minutes on the clock. Swinton added two more tries before the final hooter to maintain their perfect start to the League One season.
