Former Warriors stars hit Vegas

Keep an eye out for a number of former Warriors who will be hitting Las Vegas ahead of Saturday’s historic Betfred Super League clash against Warrington Wolves.
Fans travelling to Las Vegas for our historic game at the Allegiant Stadium will be joined in town by stars including Pat Richards, Martin Offiah MBE, Denis Betts, Shaun Wane, Simon Haughton, Martin Hall and Frano Botica.
Richards will fly in from Australia today to sample the Vegas atmosphere ahead of Saturday’s game. Whilst Richards, who scored 2468 points in 244 games for Wigan, will have some official duties, look out for him on The Strip.
The former Ireland international will be joined by Hall of Famer, Frano Botica, who last visited Wigan for the Club’s historic fifth World Club Challenge success over Penrith Panthers.
Club Officials and icons Denis Betts (Women’s Head Coach), Shaun Wane (Leadership and Management Director) and Martin Offiah (Ambassador) have also made the trip from Robin Park Arena.
Lastly, former Warriors hooker, Martin Hall, and second rower, Simon Haughton, will be in attendance in the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World.
Other former players include Mark Riddell, Matty Johns and Brian Fletcher, who will also be in town working for Australian broadcasters.
Wigan Warriors Chief Executive Kris Radlinski said: “It’s fantastic to reconnect with friends and former players who have represented us over the years. This week will be filled with shared memories (and plenty of beers). Let’s give these legends a warm Wigan welcome!”
