Historic Las Vegas clash celebrated at Super League launch

Wigan Warriors and warrington wolves generated further las vegas excitement at the betfred super league season launch.
Representatives from all 12 Super League Clubs gathered at the Co-op Live arena, Manchester, on Wednesday afternoon to launch the 2025 season which starts with a mouth-watering clash between the Warriors and Leigh Leopards on Thursday 13 February.
Former Warriors winger and Sky Sports Rugby League presenter, Brian Carney, hosted the launch which saw Junior Nsemba and George Williams build the excitement on stage ahead of the historic clash in front of a ‘Let’s Go Las Vegas’ backdrop and specially branded NFL helmets.
Rugby League Commercial Managing Director of Rugby, Rhodri Jones, and Betfred Head of Media, Mark Pearson, shared their delight on what will be the first ever Super League fixture to be played in the United States.
With just over three weeks to go until history is made at the Allegiant Stadium, the Warriors, along with Sky Sports, will bring a slice of Las Vegas to The Brick Community Stadium next week with fans set to ‘Marry’.
As announced at the Super League launch, legendary boxing announcer Michael Buffer will join us for the Greatest Opening Night. Alongside the sporting icon, Wigan’s own indie rock band, The Lathums, will be headlining the night with a performance inside The Brick Community Stadium.
