Wheelchair international round-up

Four Warriors represented England and Ireland in Wheelchair internationals in nantes, France, on Thursday evening.

England 58-28 Spain

Jack Heggie scored a hat-trick and eight goals in an impressive victory for England who were captained by Adam Rigby for the first time.

Heggie scored twice in the first half, the second assisted by Rigby, as England held a narrow 24-22 lead at the break after a flurry of late Spain tries.

England crossed for an additional six tries in the second half which saw Heggie complete his hat-trick whilst maintaining a perfect record from the tee.

France 62-20 Ireland

Toby Burton-Carter and Matt Wooloff started for Ireland in a defeat to France in Nantes.

The hosts led 34-6 at the break before second half scores saw France claim a 62-20 win.

England will be aiming to extend their winning run on Saturday afternoon when they take on France in Saint Lo (4pm K.O.).
