Speaking on the Tag Festival, Wigan Warriors Rugby Development Manager, John Whalley said: “It’s brilliant to see so many children playing rugby across West Lancashire. The opportunities schools and games organisers are offering, alongside the delivery from our development officers, will certainly drive and increase participation across younger and older age groups.”
Lancashire Development Officer, Josh Fry added: “The Tag Festival was a huge success in increasing the exposure of rugby league across West Lancashire. It was great to see so many children playing with smiles on their faces before they were given the opportunity to get photos with all four trophies.”
