Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are delighted to announce our popular Winter Warrior Camp will return in January.
Following a successful International Camp, which provided more than 300 participants with one-of-a-kind opportunities during the October half-term, our Winter Warrior Camp will return to Robin Park Arena on Thursday 2 January and Friday 3 January.
Our two-day Winter Warrior Camp is the perfect place for players [aged 5-16] of all abilities and experience levels to blow off the Christmas cobwebs – including a limited number of places for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) due to staffing ratios.
Camp participants will work on their core skills and understanding of the game in fun and engaging activities led by our Community Foundation coaches, with our older age group [U12-16’s] set to focus on development-based sessions.

Looking ahead to the return of our Winter Warrior Camp, Wigan Warriors Schools Education Manager, Scott Rafferty said: “We’re delighted to launch the next edition of the Winter Warrior Camp which has always been a huge success.
“We’re excited to see plenty of familiar faces and hopefully some new players who would like to get involved in our holiday camps. Having the season ticket offer presents a fantastic opportunity to provide more than just a camp experience but instead it can hopefully create fans for life.”

Important Camp Information:
- Children should bring boots and trainers as our camp will have elements of indoor and outdoor activities.
- Bring a packed lunch, large water bottle and suitable clothing for all weather conditions.
- Notify staff of any special requirements prior to the start of our Winter Warrior Camp.
- Parents are not permitted to stay on site to watch.
- We are a nut–free camp – please do not bring any products containing nuts to our camp.

- All Winter Warrior season tickets will be based in the EAST STAND.

- Under 8’s are entitled to a free season ticket.
- Junior season tickets do not qualify for discount in the club shop.
