Loan Report

One Warrior was in loan action over the weekend in the Betfred Championship for Bradford Bulls.

Doncaster 4-18 Bradford Bulls

Harvey Makin came off the interchange bench as Bradford Bulls were victorious on the road against Doncaster on Sunday afternoon.

The prop forward was introduced to the action after 20 minutes after an error strewn opening to the encounter saw the scores remain 0-0 but the hosts got the scoreboard running in the 24th minute to see Doncaster in with a 4-0 advantage at the turnaround.

Makin was involved in a crucial try-saving effort alongside John Davies just after the restart to keep the 4-0 scoreline afloat. Bradford saw Tyran Ott sent to the sin bin on 50 minutes but they saw out the period without a score for either side to set up a tense final 20 minutes.

A quickfire treble from the Bulls followed as Jordan Lilley, Keven Appo and Tom Holmes all crossed for tries converted by Lilley in a rampant 12 minute period to get them ahead for the first time in the game at 18-4. The Bulls saw out the game from there in the final 10 minutes to take home the two points and see them third in the Betfred Championship table after 21 rounds.
