Collect a free back to school pack this Sunday
Young children will be able to collect a back to school pack inside our Robin Park Arena Fan Village ahead of Sunday’s Betfred Super League clash against Hull FC.
The Club’s Official Charity Partner, The Brick, have provided back to school packs containing all the essential items needed ahead of the new academic year.
Inside the backpacks, which will be available to collect inside the Fan Village from 12pm, you will find: a water bottle, a stationary set – includes pen, pencil, highlighter, rubber and sharpener – and a ruler.
The Brick CEO Keely Dalfen said: “The start of a new school year should be an exciting time for families but with the cost-of-living crippling so many in our communities, it’s become yet another financial worry for everyone.
“Through the donation of these back to school essentials from Amazon, The Brick hopes to provide all children with the quality items they need to start the new school year ready to learn and with a smile on their faces.”
Interim head of community, Danny Fullerton added: “The Brick has generously donated hundreds of essential back-to-school items that we we’re thrilled to provide inside our Fan Village at Sunday’s fixture.
“This incredible gesture highlights not only shows the strong partnership between The Brick and the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation, but it ensures that children in our community are well-equipped for the upcoming school year.”
Join us on Sunday as we host a Family Fun Day at Robin Park Arena ahead of our clash against Hull FC at The Brick Community Stadium. Activities on the outdoor track include: inflatables, Segway’s, archery and axe-throwing.
