Match Report as Wigan Warriors Wheelchair Reserves beat Hull FC with three tries at Robin Park Leisure Centre on Saturday afternoon.

A bright start by the Cherry & Whites saw Reece Duddle cross within the first minute after receiving a short ball close to the line. Increasing the lead from the tee, Tom Welch put the ball between the uprights.

The score remained at 6-0 for over quarter of an hour until Hull FC managed to find space in the right corner. A successful conversion tied the scores.

Another period of solid defence came to an end when Stuart Ord was the beneficiary after some superb handling from teammates Rob Gregson and Tom Welch. It was Welch who supplied the pass that allowed Ord to crash his way over, despite colliding with the posts on the way to send the teams in at 10-6 at the break.

Having set up camp in the Hull half, Welch was on hand again to set up Ord for his second and put Wigan 8 points in front. Unfortunately, the kick was missed and the score remained at 14-6 until the final whistle.
