Las Vegas 2025: The Allegiant Stadium
The Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, will host the Warriors’ history-making Betfred Super League clash against Warrington Wolves next March.
Opened in July 2020 after three years of construction, the 65,000 capacity stadium is the home of National Football League side Las Vegas Raiders and college football team UNLV Rebels.
From hosting special sporting events such as Super Bowl LVIII, the Copa America, and the NRL Telstra Premiership, to concerts starring Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran, the Allegiant Stadium is a global events destination for thousands of locals and visitors each year.
The Allegiant Stadium staged the first ever NRL fixtures outside Australia and New Zealand in March 2024 when Sydney Roosters and Manly Sea Eagles kicked off the season with wins over Brisbane Broncos and South Sydney Rabbitohs in front of more than 40,000 fans.
Rugby league will return to Vegas bigger, bolder, and better next year with more games, more teams and more nations competing in a never-before-seen extravaganza of action on Saturday 1 March 2025.
Alongside two NRL fixtures and a Women’s international clash, history will be made when Wigan Warriors take on Warrington Rivals in the first Betfred Super League fixture to be played in the United States.
Thousands of Warriors have already purchased tickets for the showcase event, with additional ticket and travel packages available HERE.
Ahead of our visit to the Entertainment Capital of the World, familiarise yourself with the history and facts behind the Allegiant Stadium.
Located adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the Allegiant Stadium is a fully enclosed, climate-controlled arena designed by Kansas-based Manica Architecture.
Costing $1.9 billion to construct, the Allegiant Stadium possesses a domed structure to help protect fans and players from the hot Nevada sun.
The stadium includes a retractable natural pitch for NFL matches and an artificial playing surface for UNLV games which can be slid in and out from the arena’s south end. This design allows the grass to rest in the sun on non-game days all whilst maintaining a healthier playing field.
At the north end of the stadium, which provides a stunning view of the Las Vegas Strip, stands the 93-foot tall Al Davis Memorial Torch to commemorate long-time franchise owner, Al Davis. The torch, which is the worldβs tallest free-standing 3D-printed structure, contains an eternal flame lit by the team and fans prior to Raiders matches.
