England Women and Wheelchair Autumn Matches Confirmed

England rugby league have confirmed Autumn internationals for their Women and Wheelchair Teams alongside the men.

The Autumn internationals begin in Wigan on Saturday 26 October when England’s Wheelchair team host their oldest and fiercest rivals France at Robin Park Arena (2:30pm K.O.), a day before Shaun Wane’s England Men’s side face Samoa in the first of their two-match series at The Brick Community Stadium.

England’s Women’s side will kickstart a double-header at Leeds’ AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium on Saturday 2 November when Stuart Barlow’s side take on Wales (12pm K.O.) ahead of the Men’s second clash against Samoa (2:30pm K.O.).

All four international matches will be shown live on BBC Sport.

On the upcoming internationals, Rugby League Commercial Managing Director Rhodri Jones said: “We are delighted to confirm details of home fixtures for England Wheelchair and Women this autumn – and also that BBC Sport will again be providing live and exclusive coverage of all three England teams as we countdown to the 2026 World Cup.

“The Wheelchair Rugby League rivalry between England and France is one of the fiercest in any form of the sport, with the honours shared last year in fixtures in Leeds and Marseille after England’s memorable triumph in Manchester in the 2022 World Cup Final.

“Robin Park Arena will be a new venue for international Wheelchair Rugby League having successfully staged the European Club Challenge between Wigan Warriors and Catalans Dragons earlier this year – and it’s an ideal place to kick off a weekend of international Rugby League in Wigan before the first Men’s match between England and Samoa the following day.

“The double header in Leeds last year was arguably the highlight of Autumn internationals with a big crowd present at Headingley to see both England teams turn on the style as Vicky Molyneux and Elliott Whitehead ended their international careers.

“There’s such momentum in Women’s Rugby League at the moment with new stars emerging in the most competitive Women’s Super League yet, and with an international fixture against Australia confirmed for Las Vegas next March ahead of the World Cup in 2026.”

Tickets for England Men’s and Women’s clashes are available to buy online HERE with adults prices from £25 and juniors £12.50. Please note that tickets for the Wheelchair contest will be on sale soon.
