Jack Farrimond has outlined the importance of remaining focused as the warriors prepare to play three matches in nine days.
The Warriors take on Huddersfield Giants and Leigh Leopards at The Brick Community Stadium before Matt Peet’s side travel to West Yorkshire to face Leeds Rhinos.
Since scoring twice in a Man of the Match performance on his home debut in Round 15, Farrimond has started the last five Betfred Super League matches.
Reflecting on recent defeats to Hull FC and Warrington Wolves, Farrimond said: “They’ve been tough to take but we’ve learnt a lot from them, especially from Warrington. We’ve worked hard on those things in training this week and we’ll be looking to make improvements on Thursday night.”
The Warriors will be looking to bounce back against the Giants on Thursday night, and on the short turnaround between matches, Farrimond said: “Our last two defeats have been disappointing for the whole Club and our supporters which has added to our motivation.”
Farrimond added: “One positive is that there’s been less time to sit back on the defeats. The shorter days and sessions have helped rebuild energy and it’s important as players that we remain switched on ahead of these two home matches.”
The Warriors welcome NHS and emergency service workers to The Brick Community Stadium for our annual Blue Light Night fixture.
Praising the workers, Farrimond said: “All our Blue Light workers are massively important, especially with what has been going on recently in our area. It’s great that we invite NHS and emergency service workers to the match as that can help take their mind off the pressure of work even for a few hours. Hopefully we can put in a performance that makes their visit more enjoyable.”
Tickets for our Blue Light Night clash against the Giants remain available to purchase from The Brick Community Stadium Ticket Office and online HERE.
