Warrington Wolves 30-18 Leeds Rhinos
Sam Eseh Jr made his first start for the Rhinos at prop forward in a defeat to the Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.
The forward made 24 tackles in the encounter which saw Warrington race into a two-score lead in the opening five minutes with efforts from Matty Ashton and Matt Dufty. Leeds responded through David Fusitu’a but the Wolves added another two converted scores from Dufty and Rodrick Tai to go in with a 24-4 advantage.
The Rhinos responded well from the restart with Lachlan Miller crossing as Ned McCormack also scored his first career try. Tom Whitehead hit back for Warrington but Leeds responded through Paul Momirovski who went over for the away side late on, as Warrington took the spoils.

Hull FC 10-24 Hull KR
Tiaki Chan came off the interchange bench for Hull FC as the home side were on the losing end of the Hull Derby.
A fast start from Hull KR saw Sue, Lewis and Storton all cross in the opening 20 minutes, with Mikey Lewis converting all three to give the away side an 18-0 lead at the interval.
There was a second half fightback from the hosts, however, as Lewis Martin and Logan Moy went in back-to-back to reduce the scoreline to 10-18 but it wasn’t enough as Hull KR confirmed the victory with a final try on the full-time hooter from Minchella to make it 24-10.
