Coach Quotes

Looking ahead to Friday’s Derby fixture, Head Coach Denis Betts said: ““It’s a big challenge for us, they’ve got a really strong pack and we’re quite young where they’ve very experienced.

“It’s our home ground, it’s a massive game for the girls so we’re hoping that it’s such a big Derby game with both us and the Men playing against St Helens – we could have a bumper crowd in here for the game.”

Player Quotes

Also previewing Friday’s Derby clash at The Brick Community Stadium, Georgia Wilson said: “We know they’re going to be tough, they’re one of the best defences in the league and last time we played them they were solid.

“We went in at half-time with a lead [at The Totally Wicked Stadium] but we just dropped off a little bit in the second half so we just need to keep that momentum up, practice what we’ve been doing in training and show them what we can do.”
