Eseh Jr joins Leeds Rhinos on loan

Wigan Warriors can confirm that Sam Eseh Jr has joined Leeds Rhinos on a four-week loan deal.

The forward goes straight into the Leeds Rhinos 21-player squad to face Leigh Leopards at AMT Headingley on Friday night, a game that will pay tribute to the late Rob Burrow CBE.

Eseh Jr, who turns 21 next week, has spent time on loan at Castleford Tigers this season and will look to get further invaluable game time with Rohan Smith’s side over the next month.

Commenting on the move, Wigan Warriors Transition Coach, John Duffy said: “This is another fantastic opportunity for Sam to get some invaluable minutes on the pitch.

“He will benefit from playing some back-to-back games that will stand him in good stead for the remainder of the season.”
