- Deal is an initial two week loan spell.
- John Duffy: “It’s great that Sam will get the opportunity play some minutes in Super League.”
Wigan Warriors can confirm that Sam Eseh has rejoined Castleford Tigers on loan.
The 20-year-old will link up with Craig Lingard’s side for an initial two-week period.
Eseh played in Warriors’ Reserves 44-0 win over Hull KR last weekend.
The prop-forward has recovered from a hamstring injury sustained in pre-season training and is yet to feature for the first team. He joined Castelford two-weeks ago but didn’t play as a precaution after pulling up tight in training.
Warriors transition coach John Duffy said: “It’s great that Sam will get the opportunity play some minutes in Super League.
“His opportunity with Castleford was delayed slightly as a precaution but we’re looking forward to seeing him work with Craig and his staff at Wheldon Road.”
