Coaches quotes

Denis Betts is looking forward to seeing his Warriors play for the first time since taking charge, on the fixture, he said:  “You can do drills, run contact sessions and play against each other but there is nothing like playing a pre-season game and having a strong opposition to be against.

“The first game of the year in pre-season is always a difficult one, we just need to get that one under our belt and build upon that.”

On the upcoming season, Betts added: “I want to see the girls understanding of the field and what I have instilled in them in training, attacking wise and the shapes that we have done. Most of all we have worked on getting fit and stronger and being ready to compete.”
