Wigan Warriors is proud to be holding our Festival of Inclusivity at Friday night’s Super League clash against Castleford Tigers at the DW Stadium.

The Club will be showcasing many of our Warriors teams in a Festival of Inclusivity ahead of our Round 26 fixture with the Tigers, as Matt Peet’s side will be aiming to take one step closer to securing a home semi-final.

The Warriors hosted a second ‘One Club Training Session’ at the start of August, which saw 12 groups – made up of one player from each team – take part in various stations focusing on passing, tag, wheelchair and strength and conditioning.

On Friday night supporters will be able to enjoy, and join in with, numerous activities as part of the festival, which will be running inside our Robin Park Arena Fan Village as well as at the DW Stadium.

The highlight of the Festival will see our LDRL team compete in exhibition matches on the DW Stadium pitch between 6:30-7:15pm.

Over at the Fan Village, which opens at 5:30pm and is free entry for all with a valid match ticket, our Community Foundation coaches will be running Wheelchair rugby taster sessions for all to take part in – subject to chairs being available.

Supporters will also be able to watch our Girls Academy and PDRL team’s train on the Astro pitches in preparation for matches this weekend.

At half time of the First Team match, our Women’s side, who advanced to the play-off semi-final after finishing fourth, will be parading the pitch alongside our Girls Academy.

Tickets for Friday’s Super League clash against Castleford Tigers are available to purchase from the DW Stadium Ticket Office and online HERE.
