Injury Update

Matt Peet gave an update on injuries from Robin Park Arena ahead of Wigan’s Round 16 clash with Salford Red Devils on Sunday.

In his weekly press conference, Peet updated on injuries: “Kai Pearce-Paul and Willie Isa are working hard in the background from their injuries and Sam Powell had an operation this morning.”

Explaining more on Sam Powell, Peet added: “He’s been playing with a small shoulder injury so he’s had an operation on that now to tidy it up. He’s been playing through the year with a bit of pain but playing brave to help out his team mates. The operation is a small one but will see him out of action for around four weeks.”
