Coach Quotes

Matt Peet told the press he was ‘proud’ of the character his side showed to fightback and knock Rhinos out the Challenge Cup at Headingley Stadium.

He said: “It was outstanding, but that is the character we expect here and it’s what the players expect off each other. We kept our composure and our commitment remained constant no matter what the score was. I was proud of the way we dealt with adversity and how the players looked after each other.”

Speaking on the threat Hull KR pose, Peet added: “They’re an honest team and I have a lot of respect for the way Willie has got the side playing. They have been consistent, well organised and the league table shows that.”
