Wigan to face Leeds in cup

  • Wigan will face Leeds in the 6th round of the Betfred Challenge Cup.

The draw for the 6th Round of the Betfred Challenge Cup took place this evening with Wigan Warriors drawn to face Leeds Rhinos.

The draw, hosted by England women’s captain Jodie Cunningham, took place live on BBC Sportsday with Wigan being handed an away tie to start the Betfred Challenge Cup campaign for 2023.

The draw will mean that Wigan will face Leeds in consecutive weeks with the Rhinos set to travel to the DW Stadium on Friday 12 May in the Betfred Super League.

The ties for the 6th round will take place over the weekend of 19-21 May with broadcast coverage to be announced. Ticket information for Wigan’s game will also be published in due course.

Quarter-finals will be held on 17/18 June, semi-finals on 22/23 July and the Betfred Challenge Cup Final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 12 August – alongside the final of the Women’s Challenge Cup and the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final.
